Our ultimate goal: equal and direct relationships with cooperatives and/or farmers . We want to give them ownership in the coffee chain and grow together towards climate-proof plantations.

If this is not (yet) possible, we choose FTO. Through these labels we can be sure that farmers receive support to provide for their livelihood and to invest in their coffee cultivation.

Intensity

2 (medium). You taste notes of sugar cane, honey, chocolate and a nutty, lemony undertone.

Powerful Peter

Region & altitude

100% arabica beans from the region around Santa Avelina (Quiché and Quetzaltenango), South-West Guatemala, grown at an altitude of 1500m.

Intensity

3 (intense). You taste chocolate tones and hints of cane sugar, honey and ripe fruit.

BIO, Agroforestry, Direct trade.

Espresso (fresh taste) or filter (full, chocolate hints).

Lovely Luna

Region & altitude

100% arabica from San Juan del Rio Coco (Madriz region), Northern Nicaragua, grown between 900 and 1300m.

Intensity

3 (intense). Gourmets will discover hazelnut, chocolate and a hint of apple in this coffee.

Spicy Sara

Region & altitude

100% arabica beans in and around the region of the Kahuzi Biega National Park in the Kivu region, Eastern Congo, grown at 1400m – 1700m altitude.

2 (medium). You taste notes of dried and red fruit such as berries, raspberry and chocolate tones.

What' special
about this package

Sunny Joe uit Honduras. De allereerste koffie die we in 2019 lanceerden op onze zonnebrander. Heeft dus haar naam niet gestolen. De origine veranderde intussen van Peru naar Honduras, maar telkens met als doel een breed toegankelijke en zonnige koffie te kunnen aanbieden.

Spicy Sara uit Congo. Afkomstig uit één van de moeilijkste regio’s ter wereld waar we samenwerken met onze partner This Side Up. In plaats van ons terug te trekken omwille van de complexiteit van de problemen, blijven we kopen en steunen zo een project rond kinderarbeid en agroforestry.

Powerful Peter uit Guatemala. Deze delicate koffie uit Guatemala was voor Ray&Jules de eerste ervaring met een bezoek aan de koffieboeren. Onze ogen gingen open en onze ambities rond directe partnerships kregen vorm en werden groot. Deze koffie groeide intussen uit tot de favoriet van onze klanten.

Lovely Luna uit Nicaragua. Deze koffie is het resultaat van het harde werk van Laura en Heradio. We zijn trots op deze samenwerking die we helemaal zelf uit de grond stampten; korte keten, directe relaties, geweldige koffie.
