Preview, Honduras in short

Preview Honduras is a creamy Ray & Jules coffee with notes of sugar cane, chocolate and nuts. For the gourmet: mandarin and honey with a soft acidity and long aftertaste. Sustainable coffee from Ray & Jules: slow and freshly roasted on solar energy.

Fair: fair trade or direct trade

Our ultimate goal: equal and direct relationships with cooperatives and/or farmers . We want to give them ownership in the coffee chain and grow together towards climate-proof plantations.

If this is not (yet) possible, we choose FTO. Through these labels we can be sure that farmers receive support to provide for their livelihood and to invest in their coffee cultivation.

What's special
about this coffee

After several online conversations with Sebastian from Cafesmo, evaluations of coffee samples and ultimately a physical visit to the organization and the farmers in February 2024, very proud of this new collaboration.

Cafesmo is a small cooperative founded in 2016 by Hidardo, who grew up on his parents' coffee farm. 16 young people work in the structure, the majority are also coffee farmers themselves, a total of 247 small-scale farmers are affiliated with the cooperative who also vote every year at the general meeting.

Preview, Honduras is organic

All farmers are certified organic and are encouraged to engage in crop diversification and other agroforestry practices with the support of Cafesmo. The price we pay the farmers is above the fair trade price.

Producers & cooperative

This coffee is a blend of the coffee from 17 farmers around/on Mount Erapuca. Sarah visited some of them in February 2024. These farmers together provided 275 bags of coffee (69kg each). Ray & Jules bought 150 of these.
