Fruity Franny is truly a unique, fruity aromatic pearl. In this Ray & Jules coffee you will taste accents in the bean with a floral character, floral notes and hints of stone fruit. Sustainable coffee from Ray & Jules: slow and freshly roasted on solar energy.

Fair: fair trade or direct trade

Our ultimate goal: equal and direct relationships with cooperatives and/or farmers . We want to give them ownership in the coffee chain and grow together towards climate-proof plantations.

If this is not (yet) possible, we choose FTO. Through these labels we can be sure that farmers receive support to provide for their livelihood and to invest in their coffee cultivation.

What's special
about this coffee

In Ethiopia, there are three major renowned coffee regions; Harrar, Yirgacheffe and Sidamo. The Sidamo region is named after the indigenous ethnic group, the Sidama, who call the region their home and they speak the Sidaamu Aafo language. Sidama is located in the "Great RIft Valley," a vast valley with volcanoes and freshwater lakes. The latter also provide drinking and agricultural water for the population. The mountains, vegetation, abundant rainfall and fertile soil make the coffee in this region so special.

We also support the non-profit organization through this Fruity Franny Let Us Change who sells the coffee to benefit their orphanages in Awassa (Ethiopia).

Sidamo producers traditionally do not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

Heerlijk zachte koffie met fruitige toets. Na de andere R&J-bonen geprobeerd te hebben in het degustatiepakket heb ik mijn favoriet gevonden!

Mooie balans

De fruitigheid, frisheid en bitter zijn mooi in balans. Een van de lekkerste koffies. Ik gebruik de french press voor deze.
